Sarah’s background in marketing provided a natural transition into the charitable sector ten years ago, bringing with it a flair for the creative, an appreciation of facts and statistics and an understanding of how to develop compelling communications. Sarah is a believer in the power of the written word; she has a genuine love of the creative process and thrives on the excitement of learning something new with each new project. Working with a variety of not-for-profit organisations with diverse interests including the arts, sports, the environment and health care has taught her to be flexible, responsive and articulate, allowing her to create highly effective communications pieces like grant proposals, fund development plans, marketing and communication plans, case documents, newsletters, media releases and marketing collateral. Sarah’s experience in the non-profit world runs the gamut from managing planning studies to planning capital campaigns and from donor research to full-cycle donor management. She has also been responsible for data compilation and analysis, focus group facilitation, research interviews and volunteer recruitment, training, management and recognition. |
